Hi Ramesh,

Just what I thought.I had read these links ages ago.You can see straight away these are christian missionary sites;and no scholarly ones at that.Also no where they even give any proof of what they state!!

Here are two refutations.The first one is for people who want a simple answer.The secon is for the scholars.

I had seen the links.

It does not refute that Allah means God. It also establishes that Allah was worshipped before the birth of Islam.

As a Hindu, I do not find any difference whether God, Allah, Ishwar, Bhagwan is worshipped in image (idol) form or imageless form. For example, We worship Vaayu ie. Pawan (Air, Antariksh (Sky, etc. which are in imageless form.

It also does not matter whether the God or Allah is a male or female; like in parts of Bihar during the famous Chhath Pooja; Sun God is worshipped but ladies sing lyrics in the praise of Chhath Maiyya (mother in local dialect). Chhath is on the sixth day after Diwali.

I have not quoted verses from ”Devi-suktam” in praise of goddess Al-lah of Aravistan (Arabia) so far, because you are still doubtful about the birth of humanity and Hinduism on this earth.

You are welcome to your beliefs,and iv would be the last person to try and convert you.

As far as I am concerned I prefer a religion where at the minimum I get the satisfaction that I am worshipping whom I am supposed to worship; and not any image,idol or my imagination of what I feel Him he should be.

As far as the word Allah is concerned I honestly feel you do not want to face up to its real origin and usage as before the time of Muhammad.Even here I would say if you want to twist that to suit your own purpose do so,and I will leave it at that.After all I am not here to convert you to anything.

Conversion out of Hindusim is a one-way out process. There is no reconversion in Hinduism. In fact there is no conversion for becoming a Hindu because every one taking birth on this earth is a Hindu. Hinduism is a way of life, in whatever place or country you live in or whatever rituals you follow, etc. etc.

To adopt any other religion, you have to get baptised or get converted to it by following certain rituals. Hinduism does not prescribe any such process. As a Hindu, I am free to follow or reject all Gods, worship or criticise all Gods, their sermons, scriptures, books. I am totally free to abuse all Gods, all books, all ceremonies and I am not bound by anything at all. This freedom allows me to even declare myself as God if I wish to, as many people have done it before saying ”Aham Brmhasmi” ( I am Bramha (the creator god), if I wish to or even if some one else wishes to. Therefore, as a Hindu, I don’t find any problem when Prophet declares himself as Prophet and says Allah is his God and is invisible. You, Hassanbhai, do not have this choice because the more rigid you are as a Muslim, the more chained you are to Islam. You do not have the choice of belief and faith of religious freedom that I have as a Hindu. Hence, conversion out of Hinduism is out of question, in this birth.

That notwithstanding, I may accept or reject your theories; may agree or disagree with you in part or full. That we may say, is not a religious discourse but an intellectual exercise.

A questionm which is bugging me is; if Allah is all encompassing, passionate and lovable and is for entire humanity and for the whole universe; why did Prophet block the entry to Mecca for Non-muslims? Why should Allah be the sole property of Muslims alone; why should you have exclusive rights over Allah if He is for the entire universe and why should....you know what I mean? Now, please don’t give me explanations on behalf of the Prophet. Just answer, if you can.

It means two things :-

If he said it and again retracted it; it simply means that Allah was revealing the verses to Him, satan could overpour Allah. That makes his Allah a weakling.

If he retracted his statements ( it may or may not be true) the time and days of it are not known; then it simply means that retraction is for a reason other than divine. The reason is that the verses if incorporated negate the whole concept of Holy Quran by accepting idol worshipping and tolerance towards other religions.
