Good piece Ramesh.

I cant say much on the political senario as this does not interest me nor i have adequate knowledge of politics. As far as Pakistan is concerned, in Islam there are no geographical boundries and Muslims all over the world are one nation. As Iqbal says,

”IN TAZA KHUDAOON MAIN BARA SUB SAY WATAN HAI,

PARAHAN (dress/ outlook))IS KA HAI JO MAZHAB (religion) KA KAFAN HAI”

These boundries are just secondary as far as i know and believe. Before being Pakistanis, we are Muslims first. I pray that the entire nation realizes this.

The bond of Islam was fragile and could not keep East Pakistan united with West Pakistan and a separate nation of Bangladesh was born in 1971. Mujib-ur-Rehman, the then leader of East Pakistan and the father of Sheikh Hasina Wajed was an equally good follower of Islam.

”Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam” (The whole world is a family) is an old Sanskrit Verse. The question today is; can the humanity remain united? Can we think of joint family of nations? Or should we think of and accept separate, small nations but at peace with each other; as far as humanly possible?

Mr. Ramesh Balam.

i am very happy to see the knowledge you have, but i want you to know few things which are very important. I agree Bangladesh got seprated from Pakistan but this was something done through agencies and you know very wel what i mean.

India is the biggest country in South Asia and i believe they should help other nations , showing them they care as he is like big brother to them and then we can develop together and we would not need America.

Now what i see is the India is having territory problems with every nation, whether it is Pakistan, China, Nepal or Bangladesh. They should stop looking at Pakistan and should concentrate on the problems which are more important.

India might not be facing crisis which Pakistan is facing now.Pakistan is virtually in grip of all types of terrorists and extremists.Why then it’s not first setting it’s house in order before lecturing India on various issues?

I agree totally Arvind, i am not denying you. Pakistan is facing problems right now but we have to go little back and should see the wars which were fought between the 2 nations. I want to see people of both the nations to grow economically and people should get the benefits. I dont want to see South Asia to remain Underdeveleoped for next 100 years. If there is no Pakistan my brother i am sure there will be no India too, as you can see that Afghanis came into Pakistan and now we are having problems of all sought, then you know after Pakistan it can be India.

I want you to know that we never sit together for a dialogue seriously, i want people of both nations to come together but it never happened as our politicains used our emotions and we still feel bad for eachother.

So what i mean by India should concentrate on the problems is because there are many other issues which should get resolved.

Mr Ramesh Balam,your article brings so many issue alive.We indian forgets about NWFP.Also Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan wanted,it included as an indian state.
